Tax due for the year 2014-2015 was paid on 25th April 2015 for the Property Id :PID 55-535-58 through HDFC bank. While paying the tax online, the first attempt to make the payment resulted in failed transaction message. But, subsequently, the second attempt went through. Further it was observed that the first failed transaction had also got debited to my account thus resulting in double payment of tax for 2014-2015. On taking up the matter of failed transaction getting processed with the bank, i was informed by them as under:
