We paid our BBMP property taxes last year through Karnataka Bank but the transaction failed.  We therefore paid by credit card and the transaction was a success.  Several days later, Karnataka Bank pushed through the failed transaction for another success.  So we paid twice.

We thought that BBMP would automatically credit us the extra amount for the 2015-16 tax year but we were told this is not the case and that we have to file a complaint to get a refund of the double payment.

Please refund us the Rs. 2,197 as early as possible.  Thanks.
