I have faced software error while generating receipt online. The payment was successfully made (SUCCESSFUL TRANSACTION) but the receipt was not generated and the payment data not updated. So, I have again made the payment effectively paying twice the amount for this year's property tax. The BBMP TAX PAYMENT DETAILS link however ONLY SHOWS the details about the 2nd payment I have made.
Please either revert the amount or treat it as credit/advance payment towards 2016-17 property tax.
These are the details of the "software failure"
The Error Message displayed on SUCCCESSFUL TRANSACTION page is : "Inside Catch Transaction(process ID 94) was deadlocked on lock|communication buffer resources with another process and has been chosen as deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction". I have attached a pdf file of the SUCCESSFUL TRANSACTION SCREEN with the error message. Clearly, it was a software failure.
