Double deduction of Property tax when paid through net banking

Complaint / Requirement

I paid the property tax for the year 2014-15 online through the BBMP online payment on 31 May 2014. I chose net Banking (HDFC Bank) and I got an error saying transaction unsuccessful for the first time. I re-tried and the payment was successful and I got a receipt for the same. However, amount of Rs.7244 has been deducted twice from my account. I even contacted the helpline number. I never got any mail from them although they said they are going to mail me regarding the procedure for refund. I request you to kindly look into the same and refund it at the earliest.
