Tax due for the year 2014-2015 was paid on 24th April 2014 for the Property Id :PID 2-172-4/6-205B through HDFC bank. While paying the tax online, the first attempt to make the payment resulted in failed transaction message. But, subsequently, the second attempt went through. Further it was observed that the first failed transaction had also got debited to my account thus resulting in double payment of tax for 2014-2015. On taking up the matter of failed transaction getting processed with the bank, i was informed by them as under:
HDFC Bank - Ref Complaint no:BANC0514006598 PAYMENT HAS BEEN UPDATED AT THE BILLER'S END. PLEASE LIASE WITH THE BILLER FOR FURTHER CLARIFICATION
Therefore, i request you to arrange for refund of the amount by credit to account under advice to me.
