Online Property tax : Payment made two times

Complaint / Requirement

I had made online property tax payment from BBMP site on 11th April 2014. Transaction got failed at HDFC Bank site and no reciept is genrated. But amount got deducted from my account. I had check BBMP site no payment is shown. I contacted HDFC bank, they said if payment fail it will be reverted within 5 working day. I again made online propert tax payment on 13th April 2014. Payment got succesful and reciept generated "2014-2015 Application No : 790034236" .

But for first payment does not get reverted till now. I had again contacted HDFC Bank, I got following reply (copy of mail is attached):

Our records indicate that payment for transaction done on 11-4-2014 for Rs.3444.00 vide Merchant ref no.PTAX1415/BBMPMC and done on 14-4-2014 for Rs.3444.00 vide Merchant ref no.PTAX1415/BBMPMC were successfully credited to the beneficiary.

Please contact the service provider for further clarifications.

Please look into this issue and help me to get my amount back.

I HAD MADE ONLINE PAYMENT OF PROPERTY TAX ON 18TH NOV 2014(TWICE).I GOT THE MESAGE THAT TRANSACTION FAILED.BUT AMOOUNT HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM ACCOUNT(TWICE).WHEN I CONTACTED MY BANK ,THEY EXPRESSED THAT AMOUNT CREDITED TO MERCHANT.NEITHER I GOT PAYMENT BACK, NOR I GOT RECEIVED RECEIPT AFTER TRANSACTION.KINDY LOOK INTO THIS MATTER & REVERSE THE MONEY TO MY ACCOUNT SO THAT I CAN MAKE PROPERTY TAX THROUGH RIGHT CHANNEL.
